Slightly transparent purple. Delicate, mineral scent of cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry. Highly mineral on the palate, with herbal aromas. Captivates with its fineness and elegance. Striking acidity, velvety, partly coarse-grained, partly fine-sandy tannins. Subtle barrel note. Very good length.

Transparent cherry-garnet colour. Spicy, typical Pinot aroma with rather unspecific hints of red fruit. A hint of milk chocolate on the tongue at the opening, but with rather lean fruit overall. Supporting acidity. A little rough and brittle, accompanied by a slight bitterness. Nevertheless, it can be quite pleasing and shows a certain harmony, but noticeably lacks depth and complexity. Passable to good length. Cannot fulfil the requirements of a Großes Gewächs.
