Transparent, slightly clouded garnet red. Spicy aroma of light red fruits with a pronounced ethereal component. On the tongue with partly sandy, partly rustic, bitter tannins, which are initially resistant to treatment with Ovarius decanter. Only changes to its advantage after prolonged ventilation in a conventional decanter. The bitterness retreats somewhat, but remains present in moderation. The otherwise good qualities of the wine are not fully appreciated. Concentrated, dense, even almost luxuriant. Excellent length. Good food companion. Shows the limits of the vintage.
