Lemon yellow with golden reflections. Distinguished, quite subtle, delicately spicy aroma with initial maturity. Recognisable influence of the Rotliegend. Peach, red and yellow apple skin, delicate hints of Williams pear. On the palate, there is initially a slight hint of alcohol, but this is quickly concealed behind creaminess and a delicate mellowness. Nevertheless, it is slender and not at all ponderous. Characterised by extreme herbal spice. Could show more courage with acidity. Very good length. Some cocoa on the finish after prolonged contact with air. At present, the future cannot be predicted with certainty.
