The rating of the wine reflects the mean value from a tasting by our jury.
The wine was evaluated in a blind tasting.
The wine was tasted as a barrel sample or before an official test number (Amtliche Prüfungsnummer or Staatliche Prüfnummer) was issued.
The wine exhibited a sensory abnormality during our tasting. This does not necessarily have to be a qualitative defect or a wine fault. In the case of a qualitative impairment, a devaluation or rejection was made depending on the type and severity of the defect or wine fault.

Dark garnet red with discreet cloudiness and medium transparency, with the first brick-red brightenings. Slightly reductive, delicately smoky aroma of white pepper, red fruit jelly and fully ripe raspberry. Shows much leaner on the tongue than two years ago, with partly fine-grained, partly sandy, now quite velvety, friable tannins. Very herbal on the palate, good acid foundation, very good length.

Dark garnet red with discrete turbidity and medium transparency. Pinot-typical scent of white pepper, red fruit jelly and fully ripe raspberry. On the tongue it is a bit chubby, with partly fine-grained, partly sandy tannins in the style of the vintage. Very herbaceous on the palate, good acid foundation, excellent length. Absolutely decant!
