Initially still slightly transparent, with air influence finally opaque, dark cherry red. Sour cherry and roasted aromas on the nose. Great fruit density, but also marked by the use of wood on a razor's edge. Coarse-grained, chocolaty tannins, herbal notes, excellent length.
