The rating of the wine reflects the mean value from a tasting by our jury.
The wine was evaluated in a blind tasting.
The wine was tasted as a barrel sample or before an official test number (Amtliche Prüfungsnummer or Staatliche Prüfnummer) was issued.
The wine exhibited a sensory abnormality during our tasting. This does not necessarily have to be a qualitative defect or a wine fault. In the case of a qualitative impairment, a devaluation or rejection was made depending on the type and severity of the defect or wine fault.

Cuvée of 50 % Pinot Noir and 50 % Chardonnay, disgorged in October 2020. Straw yellow with a light pink touch. Fine perlage, whose initially high intensity diminishes a little after some time. In the yeast-influenced nose, hints of rendered bacon, sweet cherry, flint, but also some keta caviar. Noticeable 2014 vintage tone. Foaming well on the tongue, sweet cherry again, but more pronounced than on the nose. Shows style and substance. Very long.

Cuvée of 50 % Chardonnay and 50 % Kerner, disgorged in October 2020. Lemon to straw yellow. Very fine, quickly rising bubbles. Restrained, floral and vegetal nose with aromas of yellow citrus, partly yellow, partly green apple and dried fruits, mainly pear, but also with hints of plum. Lean, straight body. Slight bitterness, herbal-spicy on the palate. Clearly shows melon in the finish. Very good length.

100 % Pinot Noir, disgorged in October 2020. Salmon pink. Fine pearls. Floral and fruity nose with typical Pinot scent of strawberry and raspberry. On the palate with fine foaminess. Shows backbone and, as a Rosé, has “a lot of meat on the bone”. Discreet fine tart note in the finish. Very long and persistent. An hour of rest after opening the bottle led to a remarkable increase in our tasting.
